  • On September 12th, 2024, Bússola Tech hosted a panel discussion titled "Setting the Priorities for the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Parliaments." The session explored how parliaments can strategically implement AI to enhance legislative functions while managing the complexities of legacy systems and ensuring long-term sustainability.

     

     

    Moderated by Mr. Luís Kimaid, Executive Director of Bússola Tech, the discussion brought together esteemed participants: Mr. Brahma Mishra, CEO of MeetMonk, Mr. Federico Fernandez, Head of Institutional Strengthening at the Senate of Argentina, Mr. Fuat Bayramoglu, Legislative Expert at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and Ms. Kirsten Gullickson, Director of Systems Analysis and Quality Assurance at the U.S. House of Representatives.

     

     

    The session opened with each participant providing insights into their unique experiences with AI in parliamentary settings. The conversation was structured across three rounds, with each round addressing a key theme related to the prioritization and integration of AI in legislative processes.

     

     

    In the first round, the panelists discussed frameworks that parliaments could adopt to assess and prioritize AI initiatives.
