On August 15th, 2024, Bússola Tech organized a panel discussion titled "AI in Legislative Activities: Exploring Benefits and Mitigating Risks." This session aimed to explore the advantages and challenges of incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) into legislative functions, with a focus on enhancing efficiency while safeguarding traditional processes.

Moderated by Mr. Luís Kimaid, the Executive Director of Bússola Tech, the panel featured distinguished participants: Ms. Bernice Watson from the Queensland Parliament in Australia, Mr. Jonas Gomes from the Câmara Municipal de São Paulo in Brazil, Mr. Jonathan Ruckert, CEO of NovaWorks Australia, and Ms. Natasha Visser from the Western Cape Provincial Parliament in South Africa.

The session began with brief introductions from each participant, setting the tone for an in-depth discussion on the various ways AI can be utilized within legislative activities.
